Last week I read Hills like White Elephants, The Endless Street Car into the night, and the Tinfoil Nose, and The Return. All of these short stories had very different topics. Although, they all had to do with relationships among a man and a women. Reading these stories nothing really stood out to me or intrested me in making a thesis. The short stories were boring and bland.
To make my thesis I am planning on reading some more short stories until I find something that really pops out to me in the text which will make a good thesis. I want to write about something that I have an intrest in so I can write a well written long essay.

  1. I agree with you! I didn't really like any of the extra stories i've read. Let me know if you find a good one!

  2. I read two you might want to try: Priest with a black veil (I don't remember the actually title) and The Sniper. The priest one was a parable (like from the bible) so its kind of strange but it defiantly has a reason for it. The Sniper is short, action- filled, and has a twist at the end. Personally out of the two I think the priest one would be the easiest to write an essay on since it is longer.

  4. I read the Return, but I didn't really like it. I did read the Sniper, and and I loved that one! The dramatic Irony was really cool, yet disturbing. I mean he killed his brother! Who wouldn't find that disturbing!
